What personal details does Sapph use and for what?
The execution of orders
When you place an order, Sapph processes your name, address, city, phone number, e-mail address, gender, order information and payment information. If you create an account, Sapph also registers your password. Sapph uses this information for the dispatch of orders and the management of your account.
The information necessary for placing orders is stored until two years after conclusion of the order. If you have created an account, Sapph will store your account details until 2 years after you have deactivated your account. Sapph stores financial information until 7 years after the conclusion of the order.
Sapph can also ask for your birth date and both the birth date and gender of possible family members, so Sapph can send you and your family members an appropriate gift on your respective birthdays.
Advertisements and newsletters
Also, with your permission Sapph can use your details to send you newsletters by e-mail [and showing you advertisements] with information and special offers on Sapph products. The contents of these advertisements and newsletters will be adjusted to your interests as much as possible, based on your earlier order behaviour, click behaviour on the site and additional details like the gender and birth date of you and possibly your family members, as well as information on your preferences for certain collections and productions Sapph can ask for with certain promotional offers.
