SIX STEPS TO SIZE PERFECT

Most women wear a bra. Unfortunately, 70% of those women wears the wrong size. That’s a shame! A good fitting bra will bring out the best in your breast, and therefore your figure. Find the right size for you in 6 steps. After these steps you can go through your life confidently and with your perfectly fitting bra. Are you looking for the right size for your swimwear? Step 1. Measure the lower width

You measure the lower width (in cm) directly below the breast. Make sure that you place the tape-measure on your back at the same height. Your bottom width can be measured tightly. You can round down the number you find. That is because the bra stretches, while the tape-measure does not. Do you measure 88? You have size 85. You are measuring the number in the bra size now.

Step 2. Measure the upper width

You measure the upper width (in cm) on the fullest part of your breast (at the same height as your nipples) with your bra on. Again, make sure that your tape-measure is at the same height on your back. Different from the bottom width, the upper width should not be measured too tightly. You are measuring the letter of your bra size now. For example, the D in size 85 D. The size is measured with the difference between the upper and lower width. This size is also called the cup size.

Now you know your bra size. Note that every bra is different and you can still end up with another size. Also, it is important to remember that you are not always in the same cup. For example, if you go down from 85 to 80, the cup will also become one cup size smaller. This would make you go from 85 D to 80 E. Finally, your body will keep developing through your life, and your breasts will too. Keep in mind that your bra size will not stay the same for the rest of your life.

Step 4. Make sure the bra fits well

When putting on your bra, make sure you bend over and grab the braces with both hands. Pull them well behind your breasts. This will make the side of your breast fit into the cup nicely as well. Also, it is important that you adjust your shoulder straps well, check that your straps do not slip away but are also not too tight. That way, the back of the bra will be nice and straight and will not pull upwards.

Step 5. Check, Check, Double Check

Check whether your breast falls into the cup well. If the fabric wrinkles or does not fit against the breasts well, your cup size is too big. The band size of the bra is too big when the back of your bra pulls upward or when the breasts slip under the braces. If it looks like your breasts are coming over the edge of the cup or if the brace stings into the side of your breast, the cup size is too small. Measure your bra size regularly. On average, you have about 6 different bra sizes in your life. This is because of things like weight gain and loss, pregnancy and hormonal fluctuations.

Step 6. Your style advice

Choose a category that you want to look for lingerie in, click your bra size on the left side of the screen and find the perfect match for you.
